School Meals
SCHOOL CATERING
The school’s catering team provides healthy lunches cooked from scratch in our school kitchen. Produce is locally and sustainably sourced whenever possible. Children need to decide on a half termly basis whether they will take school meals or bring a packed lunch. All infant aged children are provided with a free school meal every day. Payment for upper school lunches must be made in advance. The most secure method of payment is online through a Pay360 account. Parents who think their children are entitled to free school meals may make an application online through the London Borough of Bromley website. Further information is available at the school office.
As we are a Healthy School, packed lunches may not include sweets or chocolate. We have a nut-free policy in school. When in school all children should have a water bottle filled with water only.
Break times
All Lower School children receive a free piece of fruit/vegetable daily through the National Fruit Scheme. Upper School children may bring a piece of fruit or vegetable for break time.
Please note that infant school meals are free.

COOL MILK SCHEME
In partnership with Cool Milk, our school provides a milk scheme which is available to all of our pupils. Milk is free for all under-fives and is subsidised for pupils aged five or older at around £15.00 a term.
Each pupil that registers with Cool Milk will receive a carton of semi-skimmed milk everyday, which is delivered fresh and chilled to the classroom. Their school milk will not only provide them with essential nutrients, but as it is rehydrating and energy boosting it also bridges the gap between breakfast and lunch to help children stay focused. Find out the top ten reasons to drink school milk at www.coolmilk.com/whyschoolmilk
My child is under five?
Unless you tell us you do not wish your child to participate, the school will register your child for milk on admission to Wickham Common. Free milk will continue until the Friday before your child’s fifth birthday. If you wish your child to continue to receive school milk you will need to register with Cool Milk (see below).
My child is five or older?
